Toward a Self-parking Car (1)

Now I am a internship in Germany. My project is "Toward a Self-parking car", well, it is a kind of difficult to me. At this moment I just finish a part of the project that I try to build a 3d map using a kinect and track the camera pose in real time. In my opinion, this is the first step for a self-parking car. Because the car needs a map to understand the environment in the real world. Since I still have a month left to play with the ROS and my c-car a little bit. And I hope that I could make my c-car move! :) The video below is my part of project and I would like share it to you.
(Sorry for the quality of the video due to the lack of the software...Actually it is real-time, while I moved the kinect, the map will be built simultaneously. Unfortunately, I didn't record it...maybe I will re-make a better video while I am back to Taiwan. :)

2012 Japan Open 之 Standard Platform League

I missed update my blog for a long time. Since we decided to participate 2012 Japan Open RoboCup - Standard Platform League, we had a very hard time to play with four Nao robots...But you know, it is worthy for doing that. Because it is very funny and I am happy I can play with Nao! Before the Japan Open, it is hard to believe that we could win the game. However we did ! We won the game and got first place of Standard Platform League in Japan Open 2012. It is a very nice experience I've ever had. I am very happy to share our video to you. Enjoy :)
